About MCO
MCO Capital Partners was formed to deliver institutional investment capability with direct principal accountability, intellectual independence, and a deliberately selective engagement model.

Founder & Managing Principal
The Firm
MCO Capital Partners is a principal-led investment strategy and outsourced investment office firm serving independent RIAs, family offices, and select fiduciary institutions. The firm is designed for mandates where senior judgment, cross-asset perspective, and direct accountability matter more than organizational scale.
The work integrates macroeconomic regime analysis, fundamental underwriting, portfolio construction, manager diligence, tax-aware implementation, and governance. The objective is not to produce more research. It is to improve the quality, speed, and accountability of consequential investment decisions.
Why the Boutique Model
A selective client model preserves context, responsiveness, and continuity across the life of the mandate.
Recommendations are not constrained by a proprietary product shelf, placement target, or distribution quota.
The senior person framing the recommendation remains responsible for the research, implementation logic, and communication behind it.
Facts, inference, assumptions, and portfolio judgment are separated. Uncertainty is made explicit rather than hidden behind precision.
Policy, review triggers, decision records, and governance standards are embedded in the work—not added after the portfolio is built.
Principal Experience
Manish Sharma, CFA, brings approximately a decade of experience across portfolio strategy, public equities, fixed income, private equity, direct private investments, and investment operations. Prior professional responsibilities included portfolios and model strategies representing more than $600 million.
The relevant point is not a chronological résumé. It is the combination of portfolio responsibility, investment committee leadership, research depth, implementation awareness, and communication with fiduciary decision-makers.
Representative Experience
CFA charterholder
The designation supports a common language for ethics, valuation, portfolio management, and risk. It does not replace judgment. MCO's standard is to make assumptions explicit and recommendations reviewable.
Operating Standard
MCO accepts engagements where the firm can materially improve the investment process and where responsibilities can be defined with precision.
Confidential Dialogue
The first conversation is used to define the decision problem, the existing constraints, and whether MCO's perspective can add value.
